Candidate Experience
Project Date: 2015 - 2021I designed and developed of a new product offering called InFlight Aura that was a complete candidate experience including a company career site, job search, job application, and onboarding. The experience could be extended into existing systems or we integrated applications and capabiliteis into our application flow.
Design Systems
Project Date: 2020 - PresentI have designed and built two Design Systems at InFlight and Arctic Wolf. The InFlight Design System was built as a documentation hub and design guidelines using Angular component libraries. The Arctic Wolf Design System is a Figma Style Guide and primitive libraries with detailed documentation using React and Nextjs.
Employee Experience
Project Date: 2015 - 2021I lead the design of several Apps in the Employee Experience space - mainly targeting workflows to improve the onboarding experience for new employees who need to add personal, financial, benefits enrollment, expenses, time tracking and more. Our solution was transformational resulting in 90% increase in usage rates on mobile and a 75% decrease in time to complete some of the most critical activities.
Student Experience
Project Date: 2016 - 2021I lead the design of several Apps in the Student and Teacher Experience team - mainly targeting workflows to support administrative functions for teachers and students. Students used our solutions to search and in enroll in University programs, pay tuitition, manage their schedule and all personal, financial, benefits and other information.
Theme Switching for Dynamic Demos
Project Date: 2019 - 2021I created a central theme repository and a theme switching API and component that allows developers to easily switch themes on the fly and have complete control over the branding experience in our apps.
Product Showcase
Project Date: 2019 - 2021I created a Product Showcase site to support sales and attract new business. It creates a place to view all of our product offerings in one place and view screenshots and information about products and customers.
Learner Experience
Project Date: 2014 - 2015I designed and reimagined the course learning experience by incorporating rich media and a story-like approach to progressing through learning activities and using formal assessments to guide learning.
Content and Course Management
Project Date: 2012 - 2013I designed and lead the implementation of the Content Management and Course viewing experience for students in Brightspace.
Course Builder
Project Date: 2008 - 2010The application featured an easy-to-use drag-and-drop interface for building out the lessons and activities in a course. It streamlined course management and saved instructors and instructional designers tons of time.
HBS Online Learning Program
Project Date: 2011 - 2012I designed and helped develop The Seating Chart for Teachers track attendance, and participation in a class setting. It featured the ability to make notes about students in real-time and evaluate their oral performance.
Manager Approvals
Project Date: 2017 - 2021I designed a new Approvals hub experience for managers to see all of their pending approvals in one spot. This streamlined their workflows and greatly improved the completion and accuracy of Approvals in the system. It centralized the approval process and it saved Managers tons of time, increased accessibility and fully mobile.
Timesheets & Absence Tracking
Project Date: 2018 - 2021I redesigned the Timesheet Entry experience for IBM, Towson University, and Pro Unlimited. The Timesheet application provides a calendar-like view of their timesheet with visual feedback track and verify project time, book vacation or request overtime hours.
